Symphonic game mode

M y tv is stuck on video mode, what do i do to get it back to regular tv. W e have a palsonic television when i put it on this morning it has normal colour around the corners then goes to a green then blue circle which covers all the picture. Can this problem be fixed at home? Or do we need a new TV? Is there a manual way to switch to video mode so I can use my DVD player?

I changed the batteries in the remote, but still having this problem. Any Ideas? T he cable jack on the back of my TV is loose or broken picture does not come through , but works if I run it through a cable box with the three way cords yellow, red, white.
