Home » God of War. God of War is an adventure-action story-based game. The game is set in ancient Greece with the gods on Olympus to develop the plot and gameplay. Players will also admire the majestic scenery in the land of Greece or the residence of the god, which is Mount Olympus. The main character in the story will be Kratos, a demigod whose father is the great Zeus, because of the desire for power, he sold the soul to the god of war, Ares.
The game has an in-depth storyline, along with a deep character development that makes every detail in the game interlinked.
The Titan Gia, informs Kratos that he must seek out the Sisters of Fate and then he can not only find revenge but also find peace. It is a wonderful story and one that has many twists and turns, including why Zeus has such an interest in Kratos.
The voice acting and acting, in general, is once again amazing. The PlayStation 2 version looked great. However, the HD remaster that is done for the PS3 is incredible. I really do think that you could make a case that this looks so good, you would believe it was developed on a PlayStation 3 and not a 2. While Kratos and the various creatures and bosses all look great.
It is really the different locations that I feel make God of War 2 stand above its already mighty predecessor. From areas filled with lava, snow and dark dingy areas. You go through so many varied locations that things never get boring. The CG cutscenes in this game are just gorgeous and not only do they get you very invested in the story.
You can slice, dice, cut and throw your enemies about. You can also upgrade your skills as well as health and magic. You are on a quest to stop Aries, the god of War. You can jump, swimp, swing and slide throughout the levels.
The levels are inspried by Greek mythology and ancient Greece. The storyline is also fun if you like Greek mythology. Give this one a go if you like hack n' slash games and Greek mythology. In God of War you play as a man, Kratos, who is working for the gods in this hack and slash game to try to rid himself of his horrid past.
You play as Kratos, the man from Greek. It's the cut scenes that move the plot along and their quality is remarkable. The audio has its place as well creating a rich experience that helps to immerse into the game. Without a doubt, one of the best games I can remember.
Keep in mind that it worked hard to earn the Mature rating so and may have even pushed those limits. But if that's not an issue, God of War is not something to miss. Browse games Game Portals.
